THOUSANDS of attendees gathered at Venue Cymru, Llandudno on January 13 and 14 for the "take pART" festival to enjoy a diverse range of creative activities and workshops.

More than 2,600 visitors met the beloved presenters from Cyw, the Welsh language children's television service on S4C.

The Cyw team performed on-stage in interactive dance and song sessions with the young audience at intervals throughout the weekend.

Venue Cymru also welcomed workshops from S4C’s Rownd a Rownd, and visitors had the chance to meet some of the characters from Pobol y Cwm as the soap celebrates its 50th year.

From prosthetics workshops with BBC’s Casualty to clog dancing with Hannah Rowlands, the festival provided a weekend of excitement, creativity, and learning.

Attendees had the opportunity to try out a variety of artistic and scientific disciplines, including model-making with Aardman, musical theatre, LEGO robotics with Hyett, football commentary, and beatboxing with Mr. Phormula.

The festival also featured engaging activities like gadget building with Xplore, roller skating, and a sensory exploration of the animal world with the Welsh Mountain Zoo.

A Venue Cymru spokesperson said: "We have been thrilled to organise and host the take pART festival once again!

“It's a joy to bring this incredible event to our community and to help inspire young people in the most wonderful ways.

“A huge thank you to the team here for all the hard work it takes to make this event such a success!"
