AN “INTERACTIVE and entertaining night with a difference” is to be held in Colwyn Bay in aid of a cancer charity.

The Colwyn Bay Legion social club, on Coed Pella Road, will host a charity pool night on Friday, March 8 from 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £5 per person, with proceeds to be donated to Prostate Cancer UK.

Former world champion pool player Carl Morris will be the event’s special guest, and attendees will have the chance to take him on.

The event will also feature an eight-ball pool exhibition, and an interactive trick shot show.

Mark Riddle, who has helped with the organising of the event, said: “I used to work at Colwyn Bay  Legion on the bar staff.

“Tickets are on sale behind the bar at £5 a ticket, and if anyone wants to ‘play the pro’, it is an extra  £10 - Carl Morris plays 20 games and does a few trick shots, also.

“I know a few people who have had prostate cancer, and Prostate Cancer UK is a good charity.”
