A POPULAR Italian restaurant is officially on the market.

Mamma Rosa, on 11 Mostyn Avenue, Craig-y-Don, Llandudno, made the "difficult decision" last year to put the restaurant up for sale.

The leasehold is on the market for £50,000 with Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents.

There is also a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor.

A description of the property says: "A two-storey established licensed restaurant premises, trading as Mamma Rosa.

"11 Mostyn Avenue comprises of a two-storey established licensed restaurant premises, trading as Mamma Rosa, and offering an extensive selection of homemade Italian dishes. The restaurant has an enviable reputation and a loyal customer base which is complemented by its location, being a short distance from Llandudno town centre and close to the promenade, Venue Cymru and an abundance of hotels attracting tourists, theatre goers, conference delegates and passers-by.

"The restaurant can provide up to 70 covers, fully equipped kitchen, prep areas, and utility rooms. Externally to the rear there is a yard area to the rear, offering either potential to extend the dining capability or to provide storage. The forecourt on Mostyn Avenue also offers potential for al-fresco dining.
