A DISCO and house music event coming to Colywn Bay sold out in a matter of days.

DJ Martin Taylor will be presenting Bourgie', Bourgie' at Sheldon's in Colwyn Bay. The event is described as a "glittering hemisphere of exceptional disco and house music".

The DJ has played sets around the world and has enjoyed performing at a variety of parties in "upper class" venues in recent years.

Speaking to the Pioneer, Martin said that he had been wanting to put the event on for sometime but had been busy with other commitments.

"At the beginning of this year, it became a priority for me", he said.

"I have considered a number of venues along the coast, Sheldon's really fits my brand".

"I am aware that Colwyn Bay has been under the spotlight in recent months amid a series of business closures. That didn't phase me. Actually, I saw it as a challenge to create an event in the middle of a town which has recently experienced some blows."

Martin went on to credit the new owners behind Sheldon's, who have paved the way for Bourgie', Bourgie' to realise their vision and have supported the exciting new event.

He said: "Sheldon's have been extremely open minded and on point with their reception and support of the event. I look forward to working with the new owners on what is clearly going to be a dazzling party.
