AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a man from Colwyn Bay following an episode of choking.
John Llewellyn James Davies, of Ebbertson Road West, died on January 26 at his home.
On Monday (February 5) at Ruthin County Hall, an inquest was opened into the death of the 89-year-old.

The inquest heard that the former chartered surveyor began choking at home early in the afternoon on January 26.
Members from the Welsh Ambulance Service attended at around 2pm, but despite their best efforts, they could not save Mr Davies.
Pathologist Dr Mark Atkinson said the death was suggestive of an episode of choking.
John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, adjourned a full inquest until a later date.
