AN INCIDENT in Llandudno has prompted the attendance of emergency services this afternoon (March 21).

It is understood that North Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service, and the Wales Air Ambulance were all called to the incident, on Jubilee Street, at about 3pm.

North Wales Police said that the incident was a “medical matter”.

Wales Air Ambulance added: “I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region today.

“Our Caernarfon-based crew were allocated at 2.49pm and attended by air. They arrived at the scene at 3.17pm.

“Our involvement concluded at 4.10pm.”

A witness told the Pioneer: “I was just walking to the railway station when I saw a red helicopter descending nearby. It was really loud.

“Then, an ambulance raced past to head towards West Shore.”
