THESE incredible drone shots of Llandudno Transport Festival 2024 were taken over the bank holiday weekend.

GeoView Drones took this shot (main picture) and shared these two fantastic 360-degree drone photos of the three-day event on social media.

The festival, on Bodafon Fields, features a variety of exhibitions, including of lorries, tractors and motorbikes. It is held in conjunction with Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza on May 4, 5 and 6.

Among the star attractions this year was a replica of the Red Ball Express, used in the Second World War, and a nod to the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings in 1944.

Owner Graham Booth drove to the vehicle to Bodafon Fields from his home in Southport.

There is about 50 people who organise the festival. All are volunteers.

The event was success despite some concerns about standing water.

In a statement, Llandudno Transport Festival posted on social media on May 4: "Well what a first day that was after the rain through the night which stopped at 5am this morning.

"The showground had quite a lot of standing water so we made the hard decision to close the the gates and stop any vehicle movement on the field to allow the field to recover. It did take a few hours to do so, allowing the patiently waiting exhibitors to get in. This did cause grid lock around us which we were sorry for any inconvenience caused."

The water sadly meant the Saturday evening Road Run to Conwy was cancelled.

Sunday's Road Run up the Great Orme did go ahead.
