The ClwydAlyn housing development is made up of 77 energy efficient homes for local families and independent living for over 55s.
The Builder Street site first underwent work in 2022, but was halted after Warrington-based developers Lane End Developments Construction entered administration in April 2023.
Construction resumed in March 2024, and Clwyd Alyn has now earmarked April 2026 as the start of its staged completion.
Occupying a site next to Llandudno railway station, the homes will be for social rent, with tenancy available via local letting agents.
Pupils from Ysgol Tudno were tasked to come up with potential names for a newly-built road at the site, with Llys yr Enfys (Rainbow Court) chosen as the winner.
John Jones, development project manager at ClwydAlyn, said: "The 77, high-quality, energy efficient homes at Builder Street in Llandudno will provide stable bases for local families, as well as independent living for people aged 55 or over.
"Staged completion is scheduled to start from April 2026.
"All properties are for social rent and tenancy is available via the local lettings policy and waiting lists.”
