Search the Public Notice PortalA DEVELOPER has submitted plans to construct 28 sustainable homes in Colwyn Bay.
A proposal by Wales and West Housing Association would see 28 homes built on an unused section of land at Heol Dirion.
The homes would be made up of two one-bedroom bungalows, 16 two-bedroom houses, eight three-bedrooms houses, and two four-bedroom homes.

The land, at what is currently the end of Heol Dirion, has already been identified as a contingency housing site by Conwy County Borough Council.

A planning supporting statement, by Civitas Planning Limited, said all the homes would be “affordable social rented properties to meet general need”.
The proposed homes were also described as a “sustainable and coherent high-quality development”.
The plans now await a decision by the local authority's planning committee.
