A well-known orchestra, children's show, and renowned pop star will all be performing at a Colwyn Bay theatre.
Theatre-goers will be able to enjoy a variety of different artists and genres at Theatr Colwyn.
The Budapest Café Orchestra, known for their fusion of gypsy and folk-flavoured music, will be taking to the stage on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are priced at £21 per person.
Established in 2009 by British composer and violinist Christian Garrick, the "boutique orchestra" have racked up an impressive 15-album discography.
The four-member ensemble have won several fans with their "magical and infectious performances."
Ranging from Balkan and Russian traditional pieces to novel versions of romantic masterpieces and Gaelic folk anthems, their performances evoke vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest café life, and gypsy campfires.
The "spook-tacular" family adventure theatre production, titled 'The Haunted Treasure Chest', is brought to you by Magic Light Productions.
Specialising in magic, illusions, and children’s theatre, their story confronts some hapless pirates who accidentally unleash a mischievous ghost from a mysterious treasure chest, leading them on a wild treasure hunt.
Along the way, audiences will witness an array of puppet friends, riveting illusions, foot-tapping sea shanties, and rib-tickling comedy.
The show is a Halloween adventure with many surprising twists and unforgettable characters.
The show can be watched on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7pm and Friday, October 31, 2025, at 1pm.
Ticket prices for the show are set at £12 for adults and a concession of £10 for under-16s.
Pop sensation Nik Kershaw will also be gracing Theatr Colwyn on Thursday, November 6, 2025, with 'Musings and Lyrics', an intimate evening with the artist as he revisits his meteoric career.
Ready to look back on his journey, Kershaw will deliver a dose of nostalgia and candid humour, combined with a musical performance set to coincide with the release of his new book.
Known for a string of global hit singles including ‘Wouldn’t it Be Good’, ‘The Riddle’ and ‘I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me’, which saw him languish for 62 weeks on the UK Singles Chart, making him the UK's biggest selling solo artist that year, Kershaw relinquished the limelight to focus on writing and producing.
From writing Chesney Hawkes’s ‘The One and Only’ to collaborating with the likes of Elton John and Sia, Kershaw made a successful return to performing in 1998.
Tickets for the show are priced at £36.
Special V.I.P options are also available, including the 'Best Seat & Goody Bag' for £52 and a meet and greet option for £87, which includes a pre-show meet and greet with Nik Kershaw, a front-row seat, and a goody bag.
