A YOUNG actress stepped into the role of Belle at the very last moment and delivered a truly remarkable performance.
Danielle Gorle learned the entire Beauty and the Beast show, currently running at Theatr Colwyn, in less than 24 hours.
The pantomime, hosted by Magic Light Productions, is running at the theatre until January 3, 2026.
A spokesperson from Magic Light Productions said: "A huge thank you to Danielle Gorle for stepping into the role of Belle, until further notice.
"Danielle learnt the entire show in less than 24 hours, amongst other commitments she already had. She learnt not only the lines, but the songs and all the choreography- and went on to perform brilliantly in both shows of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Incredible."

Seren Williams was also praised on December 27 for stepping into the leading ‘Belle’ role with just three hours notice.
A statement from Magic Light Productions said: "You took it all in your stride, did a wonderful job, and we were all in awe."
Magic Light Productions is marking 15 magical years of pantomime at the Colwyn Bay theatre with Beauty and the Beast.
This year’s show features an entirely professional cast from the area and includes illusions, lively puppetry, and plenty of comedy.
Producers Libby and Stuart Loughland own and run Magic Light Productions.
Libby said: “Reaching 15 years at Theatr Colwyn is something we never take for granted.
“The support we've received from audiences, local performers and the wider community has been incredible, and we're so grateful to everyone who has made this journey possible.”
