Train services in Llandudno are facing severe delays due to a breakdown this morning (Saturday, March 14).
The incident between Llandudno and Deganwy has led to significant disruptions for passengers.
Services in both directions between Llandudno Junction and Llandudno are either delayed by up to an hour or cancelled completely after the incident began at around 8am.
Transport for Wales, which operates the service, has advised passengers to expect disruptions from until 3pm.
Officials had expected the incident to be resolved by 2pm.
They apologised for the inconvenience, acknowledging the impact such disruptions have on passengers' daily routines.
Passengers can check the Transport for Wales Live Map to stay up-to-date on current services operating in the area.
They added: "If one of our trains is delayed or cancelled and you arrive at your destination station more than 15 minutes later than scheduled, you can claim compensation through 'Delay Repay'."

In response to the breakdown, rail authorities organised for buses to run between Llandudno Junction and Llandudno, aiming to help passengers in completing their journeys.
These services, provided by Dilwyns and JMJ, were scheduled to start at 10am.
The arrangements are set to continue until 2pm.
Passengers utilising the road transport were reminded that it takes longer than rail services, so they should allow extra time for their journey.
