Apply to be chair of new Llandudno Neighbourhood Board

The role will guide a once‑in‑a‑generation community‑led regeneration project.

Thanks to up to £20 million of long‑term UK Government investment, the Pride in Place Programme will support residents and partners across parts of Tudno and Mostyn to shape a 10‑year vision for a stronger, more vibrant, and more resilient Llandudno.

The new Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board will place residents at the heart of decision‑making, helping ensure that investment reflects community priorities.

The chair will play a pivotal role in championing voices, leading strategic discussions, and fostering inclusive, community‑centred governance.

“This is a rare opportunity for someone who truly believes in Llandudno and its future,” said Cllr Julie Fallon, Leader of Conwy County Borough Council.

“We’re looking for someone who can bring people together, listen, and help guide a shared vision for change that is led by the community.”

The voluntary role requires around eight to 10 hours per month, possibly more in the early stages, and is open to individuals with a strong connection to the Tudno and Mostyn area.

A statement from Conwy County Borough Council said: "Experience in community leadership or regeneration is welcome, but commitment, integrity, and a belief in 'local empowerment' is what matters most."

Applicants are invited to submit an application by Thursday, April 16.
