Gwrych Castle Dragon Egg Hunt
From March 28 to April 12, Gwrych Castle, situated near Abergele, invites visitors to join Dafydd the Dragon on a magical quest to care for Dwynwen’s lost dragon eggs hidden across the castle grounds.
Young adventurers can follow the trail, solve clever clues, and even hatch their very own baby dragon to take home!
Highlights of the event include:
- Meet Dafydd the Dragon in a fun, interactive live puppet show
- Encounter dragons and fairies throughout the castle grounds
- Enjoy traditional Victorian games and hands-on activities
- Plenty of photo opportunities
On Easter Sunday (April 5), children will have the special chance to meet the Easter Bunny at the castle!
A spokesperson for the Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust said: "Every visit helps make a real difference. All monies raised go directly towards the restoration of Gwrych Castle — one of Wales’s most important historic buildings."

Easter adventure at Bodnant Garden!
From March 21 to April 12, bring family and friends for a springtime adventure at Bodnant Garden in the Conwy Valley!
Choose between a short or longer Easter trail and explore what makes our garden birds so special. Each route features 10 fun-filled stops with games, challenges, and hands-on activities for all ages.
As you wander, enjoy gentle pause points among the daffodils, where you can learn more about the history and significance of these cheerful blooms — and snap a perfect photo with stunning views across the Old Park.
The trail takes place daily from 9.30am–5pm, with last entry at 3.30pm. Normal admission applies, plus £3.50 per trail, which includes a trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg, with vegan and Free From options available.

Easter Fun for Little Explorers at Snowdonia Nurseries &
Garden Centre
The week before Easter, Snowdonia Nurseries in Glan Conwy is hosting a fun-filled event for young children aged three plus.
Activities include
- Get creative with Easter crafts
- Follow the clue trail around the garden centre
- Collect letters to make a word
- Solve the puzzle and win a chocolate treat!

The Great Easter Eggsperience at Manorafon Farm Park
The Great Easter Eggsperience at Manorafon Farm Park in Abergele is a family favourite!
Runs from March 28 to April 6, children can enjoy a magical visit with the Easter Bunny in his grotto, perfect for photos and lasting memories.

Easter Adventures at GreenWood!
GreenWood, the eco-friendly adventure park in Y Felinheli, is back for Easter with fun for the whole family. The park is home to more than 20 rides, play areas, and outdoor adventures, including the world’s only people-powered rollercoaster, the UK’s first solar-powered water slide, and woodland mazes to explore.

A twist on the classic Easter Hunt - visitors must look left, right, up, and down to spot hidden eggs left by the Welsh dragon, Y Ddraig Goch. Brave explorers of all ages are needed to find them!

A wild Easter at the Welsh Mountain Zoo
Visitors can hop into fun with Easter at the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay from Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, April 19.
Easter activities include:
- Zoo Club – Running two days a week from the March 31, full of fun and learning for little explorers (Pre-booking required)
- Easter Egg Hunt & Spring Activities – Join the zoo's Easter Egg Hunt in the first week (March 28 to April 6), then enjoy a range of Spring-themed activities for the rest of the holidays.
- Spring Explorer Trail – Follow the zoo's new trail and discover a whole new way to explore the zoo and learn more about the animals (there are prizes to be won).
- Species Talks – Regular talks at the zoo continue

Easter Eggstravaganza at Denbigh Castle!
Denbigh Castle is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5.
Visitors can enjoy a trip back in time as The Princes Retinue demonstrate their skill and knowledge of medieval life and battle, with plenty of opportunities for children and adults to ‘have a go’ themselves.
On Sunday, SMJ Falconry will put on an impressive bird of prey flight display, accompanied by talks about these magnificent creatures.
Families can also take part in Easter crafts at the craft table and follow the Easter trail challenge with chocolate prizes for participants (while stocks last!).
The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm on both days. No pre-booking is required, and admission starts from £6.50. All children under five receive free entry and those that are disabled, and their companion, free.

Llandudno Lions Easter Bonnet competition
Llandudno Lions are hosting an Easter Bonnet contest. This will take place on Easter Saturday, on April 4, on Llandudno Prom at 2pm.
There will be Easter egg prizes. The contest it open to all ages.
There is no entry fee.
Magic Light Productions - Meadow Farm!
Join the colourful cast of quirky farmers, lovable animals, and hilarious helpers for The Magic of Meadow Farm - a joyful Easter adventure packed with laughter, music, puppets, songs, audience interaction, and plenty of surprises!
