MINOR repairs are being carried out at paddling pools across the county ahead of their opening in May.
Protective mats are being removed at Craig-y-Don Paddling Pool this week as part of the work.
The paddling pools in Craig-y-Don, Rhos-on-Sea and Penmaenmawr are due to open in mid-May.
Llanfairfechan paddling pool will open in early May to coincide with the Town Council’s 'Llanfairfechan Celebrates' Day and the completion of a new plant room.
A statement from Conwy County Borough Council’s Ffit Conwy team said: "The protective mats are being removed this week at Craig y Don paddling pool. We’ll carry out minor repairs at the four paddling pools over the coming weeks.

"Llanfairfechan paddling pool which, to celebrate the brand new plant room, will open to coincide with the Town Council’s 'Llanfairfechan Celebrates' day on May 2.
"While the repair work and refilling is taking place, we just ask that people don’t enter the paddling pools. We know it may be tempting, but we have plant room checks to perform, slip tests and chemicals to be added which can only be completed when the pools are full.
"We’re looking forward to the sun shining so that everyone gets the chance to enjoy them."
Craig-y-Don Paddling Pool is one of the largest outdoor paddling pools in Wales. It measures 116m by 21m, with a maximum depth of 2ft (0.6m).
Protective matting was installed at the pool last year to help protect the facility during the winter months.
The paddling pools were infamously closed in 2023 due to a "high risk of people slipping."
Access to all the paddling pools remains free of charge.
