THE Llandudno Tourist Information Centre will cease trading at the town's Victoria Shopping Centre this week, ahead of its move to Venue Cymru.
The tourism hub, which is run by Visit Conwy, a subsidiary of Conwy Council, is being relocated as part of the council's controversial plans to relocate Llandudno Library and other amenities to Venue Cymru on the town's promenade.
It had been expected to be relocated in July upon the expiry of its lease, but Visit Conwy has confirmed it will cease trading this week ahead of its reopening at Venue Cymru in "early May".
Venue Cymru will also see a renovation, transforming it into a space that aims to better serve the local community, library users, visitors, cultural professionals and theatre patrons.

A spokesperson for Visit Conwy said: "The Llandudno Tourist Information Centre will be relocating to Venue Cymru. Our final day of trading at the Victoria Shopping Centre will be 26 April 2026.
"During the week commencing 27 April 2026, the team will be preparing the closure of the current office and moving to the Conference Centre area within Venue Cymru.
"This space will operate on a temporary basis until the full refurbishment of Venue Cymru is completed in 2027.
