New Life on the Farm event at Manorafon this half-term

The Abergele attraction is running the family-friendly event from Saturday, May 23 through to Sunday, May 31, giving visitors the chance to get up close to baby animals and learn about life on the farm through a packed schedule of interactive activities.

Families will be able to meet and pet baby goats and visit the goat playground, spend time with fluffy chicks and ducklings in Cwtch Corner under the guidance of the farm team and visit the Piglet Nursery.

Emma Lee, Digital Marketing Assistant at Manorafon Farm Park, said: "There is something really special about visiting the farm at this time of year and seeing families gather around the baby animals.

"It gives little ones the opportunity to learn more about animals and their care needs, while encouraging curiosity, empathy and understanding through fun, hands-on experiences."

This year’s event will feature piglets just under two weeks old. The farm park is hoping to also welcome some baby Boer and Angora goats during the week.

Visitors can also enjoy bunny cuddles and join a Piglet Keeper Talk. Meet a proud mum and her adorable Kune Kune piglets, and discover what it’s like caring for these curious little characters.
