A LLANDUDNO guesthouse has achieved global recognition after being named one of the top bed and breakfasts in the world in the 2026 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Hotels.
Burleigh House, on Church Walks and run by Steve and Julie Wood, made the Wales winners list and has been ranked number 11 in the world for B&Bs and Inns, and number three in the UK, placing it among the highest-rated accommodation providers internationally based on millions of verified guest reviews.
The B&B, which boasts six ensuite rooms, is 5 star rated (excellent) on TripAdvisor and has received 1,290 reviews.
A string of Llandudno B&Bs were recognised among the UK’s best, including Min Y Don (6th in UK); The Rosedene (8th in the UK); The Cliffbury Guest House (10th in UK) and Between The Bays, rated number 15 B&B in the UK, reinforcing the seaside town’s growing reputation as a leading destination for independent and boutique accommodation.

The awards, by Tripadvisor, recognise the most highly rated hotels worldwide, with winners determined by both the quality and volume of reviews collected between January and December 2025.
"This year's Best of the Best Hotels winners represent the top choices of millions of travellers who stayed, experienced, and took the time to review these properties," said Laurel Greatrix, Chief Communications Officer, Tripadvisor Group.
"Whether it's a luxury resort in Indonesia or a boutique hotel aboard a ship, these winners create the foundation of truly unforgettable trips."
Also on the Wales winners list is Aberconwy House in Betws-y-Coed, which has achieved number 18 B&B in the UK; Afon Rhaiadr Country House in Dolgellau (19th in UK); and Caerwylan Hotel in Criccieth, which has been rated number 25 Small and Boutique Hotel in the UK.
This year’s top UK winner is Royal Lancaster London, named number one 'Top Hotel' in the UK and number four in the world.
The awards cover seven sub-categories: Top Hotels, All-Inclusive, B&Bs and Inns, Family-Friendly, Small & Boutique, Luxury and One of a Kind.
