MORE than £5,000 has been raised for a family in Colwyn Bay who "lost everything" in a devastating fire at their home.
Jodie Dawe, Dave Beman and their son Alfie have been "left with nothing" after a fire destroyed their home in Old Colwyn earlier this week.
The family's pet cat died during the incident in which their "entire world was turned upside down".
The community has come together to raise vital funds for their immediate future.
A fundraiser launched by family friend Helen Lehart has already raised more than £5,000, including almost £2,000 in the last day - you can donate here.
The GoFundMe page said: "On what should have been an ordinary day, our dear friends Jodie, Dave, and their son Alfie lost everything in a devastating house fire.
"Their home was completely destroyed, and tragically, they also lost their beloved cat. In a matter of moments, their entire world was turned upside down, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
