VOLUNTARY redundancies are being offered to admin staff working at a furniture business.
DFS, who has a site in Llandudno, said this is due to there being "a big shift" in the way consumers shop.
A spokesperson for DFS said: "There has been a big shift in the way consumers shop over the past 18 months and, as a result, we are making some changes to our customer service team in order to better meet our customers' needs. This includes creating a Central Customer Support team that will be a more convenient one-stop shop offering great customer service, operating 12 hours a day, seven days a week.
"This new omni-channel approach means we propose to remove the role of administrators within some of our showrooms across our store estate.
"We have the equivalent number of new roles available in complementary departments at local, regional and central sites.
"Although we are offering voluntary redundancy, it is our ambition to retain as many colleagues as possible and we hope those affected will seek new opportunities within DFS."
