COLWYN Bay have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of striker Sam Ilesanmi.
The 20-year-old reunites with manager Alan Morgan after the pair both began the season at Llandudno, and the tricky forward is now available for their clash with Colne on Saturday.
Morgan said: “I’ve known Sam for a while and he has got good pace and power and can be a handful. He has to realise, however, that coming out of full time football there are good players at this level and he’s going to have to work hard.”
Originally from Nigeria, Ilesanmi came through the youth team at Tranmere Rovers and scored the winning goal on his first team debut in a 1-0 against Maidstone in the National League last season.
He had a month on loan at Warrington Town, where he also scored in a 2-0 win over Skelmersdale United, before being released by Tranmere in the summer and joining the JD Welsh Premier League outfit.
The club also announced that another loan signing is set to be confirmed this week, with Nathan Brown due to return to Chester on Sunday at the end of his month’s loan.
