LLANDUDNO manager Iwan Williams said “something has got to give” in terms of his side’s goalscoring fortunes following their 0-0 draw with Cefn Druids.

Despite another stout defensive display Tudno only had a point to show for their efforts after dominating possession, and it promises to be another pivotal week for the club ahead of their long trip to Barry Town United on Sunday (2.30pm)

Williams, said: “I thought we defended like men and fought for every second ball, but I am at my wits end to be honest.

“You have got to work hard for goals to go in and I questioned whether or not we are doing that. I know I have got an honest group and we have got the monkey off our back, but something has got to give up top sooner rather than later.

“We will train twice this week and I’ll watch the game back and analyse where we need to improve. We have got something to build on in terms of a clean sheet but we have got to find ways of the getting the ball in the back of the net which has been the story of our season.

“We need a bit of luck and it is becoming really draining for me. I keep saying how much I want to be at this club and it has been a long two years of suffering for the supporters, so I want to change the club’s fortunes and preparation will be immaculate this week and hopefully we can cause Barry some problems.

“It has been a torrid time for me personally, but I am confident that one day it is all going to change and the sooner, the better.”

Tudno also take on JD Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints of Oswestry Town on Tuesday night, with Williams encouraging his side to “express themselves and enjoy the occasion”.
