KINMEL Bay have been handed a tricky road trip to Llanrug United in the Mawddach Challenge Cup second round.

The in-form Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two side will be looking to cause a major upset against their third-tier rivals, who harbour high ambitions and possess a powerful squad with plenty of talent and experience.

St Asaph City face a familiar foe when they make yet another trip to rivals Llandudno Albion, with Daniel Brewerton’s side achieving a double against the title hopefuls already this term in the league and JD Welsh Cup.

Mark Hughes and John Hargreaves’ Prestatyn Sports will be looking to use home field to their advantage when they host Llanrwst United, who have picked up where they left off last season thanks to a series of eye-catching results against high quality opposition.

Perhaps the tie of the round comes at Llangefni Town, with the Division One leaders taking over Division Two pacesetters Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs, and Penmenmawr Phoenix welcome Barmouth and Dyffryn United in another mouth-watering clash.
