RHYL and District produced their finest display of the WRU National League Division Two North season to date thanks to an emphatic 41-0 bonus point victory at Welshpool.

The Dragons were at virtually full-strength for the first time all year and it resulted in a sensational attacking display that produced no fewer than seven tries during a dominant performance throughout.

Cal Morris was one of the standout performers on the day and he helped himself to a pair of fantastic individual scores that played a huge part in the visitors’ success, and Che Hudson also capped off a much-improved outing with a brace of his own.

The away side were in rampant mood virtually every time they launched an attack, with Reeve Wright, Ian Marshall and Stuart Fellcrook also crossing the white wash to complete the scoring on a fine afternoon at the office for the promotion hopefuls.

The assured boot of Richie Williams added to the score with three conversions, and the Dragons will look to build on this positive result when they make the trip to a resurgent Bangor on Saturday.
