LLANDUDNO striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher has left the club to take up the managerial vacancy at Bangor City.

The former professional left the Citizens’ this summer following the Citizens’ demotion to the Huws Gray Alliance after failing to obtain an FAW Domestic Licence.

Taylor-Fletcher has long indicated his desire to move into management after a glittering playing career which has seen him turn out for prestigious sides such as Blackpool and Leicester City and score at venues such as Old Trafford.

His most recent efforts have come with top flight strugglers Tudno, where he made an outstanding contribution for Iwan Williams’ men before being offered the managerial role at a club he was once assistant under Kevin Nicholson.

In a departing statement to supporters, the striker thanked everyone for his brief time at the club and stated his confidence that Williams and his staff can turn things around during the rest of the campaign.

Taylor-Fletcher, said: "Twenty-four hours is a long time in football and things can change very quickly.

“I have really enjoyed my time at Llandudno even though results haven’t been what was needed, the players and fans need to stay positive and I’m certain Iwan and the players can pull through and turn this season around.

“Going back to Bangor as manager again was something I couldn’t turn down and I would like to than Iwan and the chairman for their understanding at this time.”
