COLWYN Bay midfielder and playmaker Craig Pritchard will gain further international experience at a prestigious Futsal competition.
The in-form talent has been picked for the Wales Futsal team to compete in the Home Internationals which are being held in Northern Ireland for the first time this weekend.
All games are being played at the Newry Leisure Centre and Wales open their campaign against England on Friday (Nov 30) at 4pm.
They then play hosts Northern Ireland on Saturday (6pm) before facing Scotland on Sunday (12pm).
The 21-year-old, who represents Cheshire Futsal Club, has enjoyed a fine first season at the Seagulls following his summer move from Denbigh Town, where he played a starring role in the club’s highest ever league finish after finishing second behind Caernarfon Town in the Huws Gray Alliance.
After taking his time to settle at the Four Crosses Construction Arena, Pritchard has come to life under new manager Craig Hogg and assistant Neil Coverley and turned in another superb effort in the face of some physical treatment during Bay’s narrow loss to Ramsbottom United last weekend.
Due to the selection, Pritchard will be unavailable for the Seagulls’ home clash with Glossop North End on Saturday, where they will be looking to get back to winning ways to boost their Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One West playoff chances.
