LLANDUDNO manager Iwan Williams has already confirmed his first new signing ahead of what promises to be a busy January transfer window at the club.

The JD Welsh Premier League are set to make wholesale changes to their squad following a disappointing campaign to date, and Williams has secured the services of experienced forward Ryan Wade subject to international clearance.

Wade most recently played his football at Merseyside outfit Marine, and has also played for Aberystwyth Town, Airbus Broughton, Bangor City and Bala Town in the domestic top flight.

Williams, said: “Signing Ryan is a huge positive for us. He wanted to come here and help me get out of the predicament we’re in. He has vast experience within this league and has that bit of character require.

“It’s good to get one or two done early and with Ryan being a free agent, when I contacted him and explained the background and what we wanted to do moving forward, he wanted to come in and help.

“He has trained with us and you can see his qualities. He has a bite about him and there’s no denying that our goal record is poor this season and has probably been the story of our season.

“Ryan will definitely add value in the final third and is not a player who lacks confidence whatsoever. He’s already integrated with the squad and is keen to get going as soon as possible.

It is not yet known when Wade will be available for selection, but the move comes too soon for Tudno to count on his services in their rearranged clash with Caernarfon Town this Saturday, with supporters offered free entry for the 12pm kick-off.
