More than 60 tennis players of all ages have come together at the Rhos-on-Sea tennis club for an all inclusive coaching clinic.

The event was organised by club secretary Beth Williams and run by herself, Mark Chan and Ed Falloon who are two professional coaches from the LTC (Love The Challenge) team.

Tennis Wales ambassador and member of the Rhos Tennis Club, Tony Costa, said: "Recent research has proved that whilst all sport is beneficial and well worth doing people who play racket sports - tennis in particular - live on average longer than people who play any other.

"It seems that the social aspects of club tennis are as much responsible for this increased longevity as the physic ones.

"Tennis is one of those wonderful sports where people of both sexes, of all abilities and of all ages can enjoy participating together, as the event that took place at Rhos Tennis Club illustrates.

"You are never too old to coach and never too young to listen."
