HOLYHEAD Hotspur have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of talented forward Jamie Roberts.
The Holy Islanders’ confirmed the signing prior to their dramatic Huws Gray Cup semi-final win over Bangor City, with Roberts joining the second-tier strugglers from Gwynedd League side Glantraeth after a brief spell under Darren Garmey earlier on in the season.
He enjoyed successful spells at Caernarfon Town and Conwy Borough prior to his move to Traeth under then-manager Warren Gibbs, and Roberts made a significant impact at the club before making a move back to Spurs.
Roberts joins a formidable front-line that also includes John Littlemore and talisman Mel McGinness, with the club looking to mount a great escape in the coming weeks to avoid relegation to the third tier.
