LLANDUDNO FC are launching an exciting new scholarship programme for students eligible for Sixth Form.

The JD Welsh Premier League side are working with LLS, specialists in Sports Coaching and Education for the football-based programme, which will enable aspiring players to combine their full-time studies with regular training sessions led by UEFA qualified coaches and weekly fixtures.

Those taking part will receive a BTEC Level Three extended diploma, which involves a work experience placement in the region.

They will also be part of an “elite training” module that will see them learn UEFA standard coaching methods, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation techniques and video analysis.

The group are set to visit some professional facilities as part of the course, in addition to speaking with current pro coaches and players to further enhance their development.

Upon completion of the course, they can pursue university options relating to their chosen topic, apply for football scholarships abroad and tak further qualifications with a view to becoming a professional coach.

Anyone interested in the programme should email yourfuture@llsonline.uk, call 0151 2943229 or visit www.llsonline.uk for more information.
