LLANDUDNO signed off their JD Welsh Premier League away fixtures with a convincing 4-0 win at Llanelli Town.

The relegated side saved their best for last on their travels with what was arguably their most dominant performance of the season to date, leaving them with a second-from-bottom finish as they prepare for life in the second-tier next term.

They will look to take this positive momentum into their final game at home to Cefn Druids on Friday night as they bid farewell to the top fight after an eventful four-year stay.

Tudno got off to the best possible start after going ahead on 11 minutes when Sameron Dool converted from six yards after Town failed to clear a corner.

This was immediately followed by a second which came courtesy of George Harry on 13 minutes, with the forward finding some space in the box and heading home a pinpoint delivery to double the visitors’ advantage.

After the break saw the away side stretch their cushion further on 59 minutes when midfielder Yalany Baio picked the ball up 30-yards from goal and went on a sensational individual run before finding the corner.

The former Bangor City standout was in ruthless form throughout the second period, and he produced another well-timed run and finish on 64 minutes to round off the scoring for the away side.

This enabled Mark Cowan’s men to see out the remainder of the contest in comfortable fashion to secure only their fifth triumph in 31 league games this season.
