LLANDUDNO striker Les Davies has departed for pastures new after signing a deal at Aberystwyth Town.
The physical front man arrived at the Giant Hospitality Stadium earlier this year from hometown club Bangor City, but he failed to make a lasting impression as Tudno were relegated from the JD Welsh Premier League following a four-year stay in the top-flight.
Davies has enjoyed a phenomenal playing career and will get another chance to prove himself at the top of the Welsh pyramid with Aber, who comfortably avoided the drop after a strong end to the season.

He is best known as the iconic striker who helped Bangor City and Nev Powell to Welsh Premier League title glory in 2011, in addition to Welsh Cup wins in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Davies has since played for Connah’s Quay Nomads, Bala Town and the Citizens’ before his move to Llandudno, and the forward arrives at Park Avenue with 123 WPL goals to his name from more than 400 appearances.
He has represented Wales at under 18 and under 21 level and also as a semi-professional for their under 23 team.
His goalscoring exploits saw Davies shortlisted for the UEFA Player of the Year award in July 2012.
