LLANDUDNO have made further adjustments to their squad with the signing of Dion Jones.

The talented youngster arrives at the Giant Hospitality Stadium after a successful two-year spell with Chester’s Academy system, and the Llanfairfechan native has opted to continue his fledgling career at the FAW Northern Championship side.

Manager Matthew Jones, said: “I am delighted to be welcoming a player of Dion’s talent and quality to the club and into this new look squad.

“I’m really looking forward to see how he integrates with the other players we have recruited.”

Jones is no stranger to the Tudno set-up having been part of their thriving youth system before making the move to Chester, and he is the latest in a series of high profile arrivals at the club as they look to get back to the JD Welsh Premier League at the first time of asking.

Anthony Marshall, Bryan Roberts and Dean Seager have all joined from Conwy Borough, with Bangor City duo Robbie Parry and Jacob Farleigh also agreeing to sign on at the club.

Goalkeeper Shaun Pearson and midfield talisman Danny Hughes have committed for the upcoming campaign, with a host of senior squad players such as Kai Edwards, Toby Jones and Mike Pearson opting to embark on a new challenge.

“I’m really looking forward to be coming back to Llandudno after a brilliant two years away at Chester,” added Dion Jones.

“I can’t wait a new journey with Llandudno and get going for the new season.”
