BANGOR City will open their FAW Tier 2 North League campaign with a high-profile home encounter against Colwyn Bay.

The Citizens’ welcome the Seagulls’ to the EuroGold Stadium during their first weekend of the campaign, which will be the first time that Craig Hogg’s men will have played a competitive league fixture within the Welsh pyramid system for more than three decades.

This will be followed by a trip to Conwy Borough on August 24, with Buckley Town, Porthmadog and Flint Town United also set to test their credentials during the opening exchanges of the campaign.

Llangefni Town begin life in the second tier with a home tie against Gresford Athletic, before coming up against Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Conwy Borough and Buckley Town during what appears to be a trick start for the newly promoted side.
