ST ASAPH City have confirmed their playing staff and backroom team for the upcoming campaign.

The Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One side announced a wealth of exciting developments over the past week, with Saints’ manager Daniel Brewerton staying on and looking to build on a positive first season at the helm.

He will be joined in the dugout by Jamie Roberts, who will be taking on the duel role of assistant manager and goalkeeping coach, with Lewis Hensey coming on board as an assistant coach.

They will be led on the field by squad mainstay Paul Fleming, who has been confirmed as the City captain, and former Rhyl and Bangor City defender Jamie Brewerton re-affirming his commitment to the club.

Harry Langton, Dan Williams, Johnny Taylor, James Williams, Luke Wilmot, Matty Morris, Corey Brewerton, Josh Brown, Jason Foulkes, Callum Murphy and Mikey Hargrave are other senior squad figures that will remain with the set-up, and they have also sealed the signatures of three new faces as part of their ongoing improvements to the squad.

The experienced figure of Stewart White represents a real coup for the Saints, with the player turning out in the JD Welsh Premier League for the likes of Rhyl and Bangor City during a standout career to date.

White, who began his career at Chester City, will be joined by James Witherspoon and former Airbus Broughton Academy prospect Lee Jones following their respective signings, and the trio will be looking to make a huge impact in what is expected to be another hugely competitive third tier next term.

Brewerton’s side face a series of friendly fixtures in the coming weeks to ready themselves for the new campaign, with City coming up against Llandudno Junction, Rhydymwyn and Connah’s Quay U19s before competitive action gets underway.
