LLANDUDNO Amateurs picked up a hugely important three points with a dramatic 4-3 success at Amlwch Town.

The newly promoted Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two side scooped their second away win of the season with a resolute display that moves them up to 11th spot in the standings, and they took the lead on the quarter hour mark when Scott Court took advantage of some hesitant defending to find the net.

Town bounced back in impressive fashion and found themselves ahead thanks to a pair of goals either side of the break from Rhys Roberts and Ryan Rowlands, but Sandy Malone’s side refused to lie down and got back on level terms a minute after the hour mark when Court turned in his second of the afternoon.

Things got even better for the visitors shortly after the restart when Mark Cook’s strike gave them the lead for the second time, with Rowlands going almost straight up the other end for his brace with 75 on the clock.

With the game heading towards a stalemate, the Amateurs’ dug deep to claim the spoils thanks to a dramatic stoppage time winner from Aaron Rogers.

Mochdre Sports emerged from their home encounter with Barmouth and Dyfryn United with a 3-3 draw thanks to goals from Peter Bould, Thomas Roberts and Bradley Wynne, with Llandudno Junction’s game against Penmaenmawr Phoenix falling victim to the weather.
