LLANDUDNO Albion remain top of Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One despite being held 2-2 at home by Mynydd Llandegai.

The championship hopefuls moved one point clear of Holyhead Hotspur having played two games more after blowing a comfortable half time cushion on their way to a share of the spoils.

Darren Jones’ side got off to a strong start and went ahead on 19 minutes through a neat finish from Adam Hold, and they increased their advantage thanks to a fine effort from Dan Roberts with 22 on the clock.

The game took on a different demeanour after the break as the visitors got themselves back into the clash, and they were rewarded for their improved play on 64 minutes when Josh Owen fund some space to put away a chance.

There was still time for further drama, which arrived on 80 minutes when Osian Jones was presented with an opportunity, and he remained composed to ensure both sides had something to show for their efforts.
