A LLANDUDNO Sailing Club youngster has been acknowledged for another incredible campaign on the water with a high-profile national squad selection.
Liam Farrell, a Year 8 pupil at Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay, has been called-up to the UK Feva National Junior Squad for the 2019/20 season, which represents a significant achievement for the aspiring star.
He achieved this feat alongside new sailing partner Felix and came as a result of a standout performance in two Grand Prix selection events in early September.
They followed this up with another exceptional display full of consistency during a special event at Hayling Island that further enhanced their prospects on selection to the squad.
Liam and Felix will now attend six coaching sessions with the set-up over the winter months to build their skills during the off-season with some of the best coaches anywhere in the country.
This will ensure both will hit the ground running when the competitive campaign gets underway once again, and this is the latest in a series of outstanding achievements from a sailing perspective.
