LLANDUDNO have bolstered their squad with the signing of versatile player Lennie Armstrong.

The 19-year-old, who turns 20 on Monday, arrives at Maesdu Park after a spell with fellow JD Cymru North side Bangor City and impressed considerably when the two sides squared off earlier in the campaign.

Armstrong can operate in midfield or from full-back and will provide additional options for the 11th placed side during the second half of the season.

Manager Matthew Jones, said: “I am delighted to have secured the signing of Lennie.

“He really impressed me for Bangor against us earlier in the season. He is hungry and really suits what we are trying to do here.

“As soon as we had those first discussions with him it felt like a good fit.”

In addition to Armstrong’s arrival, the club secured the services of goalkeeper Tristan Jones, who will provide cover for established number one Shaun Pearson.

Former Academy player Kieran Edwards also made his return to the club earlier on in the window, with Connor Tierney re-joining the fold after a period away.
