LLANDUDNO FC boosted their attacking options with the signing of Cory Williams.

The talented forward arrives at Maesdu Park after a hugely successful three-year spell at nearby Conwy Borough, where he played a leading role in the promotion back to the JD Cymru North following a memorable treble winning campaign.

Williams boasts plenty of experience at high profile clubs across the region including Rhyl, Caernarfon Town and Colwyn Bay, and his exceptional form as a youngster also saw him secure a move to National League side Chester before returning to the Welsh domestic system.

He becomes the latest player to join Llandudno from Borough, with Dean Seager, Bryan Roberts and Anthony Marshall all making the switch during the summer.

Tudno manager Matthew Jones, said: "I am delighted to have secured the signing of Cory.

“I worked with Cory briefly at Rhyl and have been monitoring him ever since.

“He has impressed me in both games against Conwy this season and I really believe he will add something to our front line.

“He is a great lad and the kind of player and person we want as we continue to build a strong group."

Williams’ versatility is sure to be of considerable use to the Tudno front-line for the remainder of the campaign, and he made a good impression after coming off the bench in their weekend win at Porthmadog.
