LLANDUDNO manager Sean Eardley has further bolstered his squad ahead of the new season with the signing of Rob Evans.

The player has made a big impression after training with the Maesdu Park side in recent weeks after teams across the country received the green light from the Football Association of Wales, and this was enough to convince Eardley to officially make the move.

Evans has clearly left a big impression on the management team, with his work ethic coming in for significant praise from the Tudno boss.

Eardley, said: "Rob has been with us since the beginning of pre-season and his attitude and work ethic are the biggest things that have struck me.

“He’s fitted in with the group and worked really hard, he seems a humble and great lad off the pitch too.

“He gives us many options and I believe teams need that type of player.”

The versatile player is the latest addition to a Tudno squad that could be much improved under the former Caernarfon Town manager, with the club harbouring lofty ambitions on and off the pitch next season and beyond.

Evans, added: “It is a new and exciting opportunity for me, and I’m really looking forward for the action to start and giving my best for the shirt.”

The club also confirmed the appointment of Iain Dyer as their new kit manager after he impressed the board considerably during the application process.

He has bee part of the Llandudno set-up for the last five years and is looking forward to his latest challenge.

Dyer, said: "I wanted to get involved with the first team and be part of the new journey we are embarking on.

“After a chat with Eards and the chairman it was clear it’s a role which will be quite interesting and hands-on. It’s a good time to be involved in the club and there's many positives to look forward to."
