PWLLHELI were the big winners in a wet weekend in the Division Two promotion race.
With all Saturday’s matches rained off, Pwllheli also had a Bank Holiday Monday match and a four-wicket win at home against Denbigh Seconds put them 10 points clear of Carmel and District, who will go back top if they win at Gwersyllt Park Seconds tomorrow.
Other fixtures: Llanrwst v Brymbo 2nds; Marchwiel and Wrexham v Corwen; Menai Bridge 2nds; St Asaph 2nds v Llay Welfare.
Mold Seconds and Bersham continue their battle for pole position in Division Three.
Bersham are 12 points clear of Mold ahead of their home encounter against Pontblyddyn Seconds.
Mold go to fifth-placed Conwy Seconds but the big match is at the bottom of the table where the winners of the Halkyn Seconds against Hawarden Park Seconds clash at Pant Newydd could stave off relegation.
Other fixtures: Abergele 2nds v Buckley 2nds; Caernarfon v Bethesda 2nds; Connah’s Quay 2nds v Ruthin.
Bala are making Brymbo Thirds wait to secure the Division Four crown with two games to go.
