A MAN has been arrested after being caught in possession of a machete following an altercation in Llandudno Junction.
The incident occurred on Conwy Road on Tuesday morning and involved an altercation between two men, after which a machete was seized by police.
And North Wales Police has said a 28-year-old Flintshire man has now been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Following a recent incident involving an altercation between two men followed by a machete being retrieved from one of them, we can confirm that a 28-year-old man from Flintshire was arrested by local officers for possession of an offensive weapon.
"He has been released on conditional bail whilst our investigations continue.
