Game of Thrones (GoT) spin-off, House of the Dragon (HotD), is looking for people to be involved in the filming of season 2 in North Wales.

So if you're a HotD fan, a budding actor or just looking for some extra cash, here's the perfect opportunity to be involved in one of the most highly anticipated series of 2024.

Filming on season 2 of the popular HBO show House of the Dragon began back in April.

How to be a part of House of the Dragon season 2?

Ryan Condal, co-creator, showrunner and executive producer, said: "We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera.

“All your favourite characters will soon be conspiring at the council tables, marching with their armies, and riding their dragons into battle.

“We can’t wait to share what we have in store.”

Part of the show looks set to be filmed in North Wales with film crews spotted in Penmon on Anglesey recently.

Now, HBO is looking for extras to take part in filming for the show codenamed RED GUN S2 in North Wales over the summer.

Twitter account westerosies believes RED GUN S2 to be HotD.

They are looking for men aged between 18 and 55 and no previous experience is required.

In an explainer about the role, westerosies posted: "HBO are looking for amputees for an exciting new project codenamed 'RED GUN S2' filming in North Wales this summer.

"All filming days will be paid and previous experience on a film set is not necessary.

"We are looking for men aged 18-55 - all looks welcome.

"Filming will take place in North Wales during Summer 2023 - If selected by the Director, it is likely that you will only be needed for a few days within this period (making working as an 'extra' easy to fit alongside other commitments).

"Whilst we can't reveal much at this stage, we can say this is an amazing opportunity to work on set and t be a part of a very special production."

The post went on to say the director is looking for a large number of extras and the more applications the better.

While the position is for amputees, you don't need to be one to apply for the role.

HotD is based on Martin’s Fire And Blood, which is set 200 years before the events of GoT, and the new series will see the return of Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy and Paddy Considine in their starring roles.

It chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen and the events leading up to the Targaryen civil war, known as the Dance of the Dragons.
