A BUILDING in a “prime” location in Conwy town centre has gone on the market.

The Conwy Jewellers building, situated at 14 High Street, has gone on the market for a guide price of £240,000 with estate agent St David’s Commercial.

The property includes the Conwy Jewellers premises, which the company pays rent for, and a two-bedroom maisonette which is currently vacant.

The maisonette is considered “ideal” for use as a rental property or AirBnB.

The maisonette is a rear-access property, with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, and was previously let at £75,000 a month.

St David’s Commercial said of the listing: “Substantial investment property situated in a prime location on Conwy High Street.

“Compromising a lock up shop premises trading as Conwy Jewellers, and a 2-bedroom maisonette which is vacant and considered ideal for rental or Airbnb purposes.”

Conwy Jewellers told the Pioneer the “business is staying”, no matter what happens regarding the sale of the property.
