DYLAN’S have set a date for the opening of their new restaurant in Conwy, the fourth of its kind in North Wales.

The business opened their baked goods, deli-type general store on High Street last year, with plans for the development of the first and second floors and a restaurant next door.

The restaurant, Dylan’s Conwy, is nearing completion and is now set to open on Saturday, 16 September.

Dylan’s Conwy will offer a unique view of both Conwy Castle and St Mary’s Church from the first floor terrace, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

The business’ Conwy expansion plans to create up to 30 jobs, and joins their award-winning waterside restaurants in Menai Bridge, Criccieth and Llandudno.

David Evans, Dylan’s co-owner and director, told the Pioneer: “Our search to find a great restaurant site in the town of Conwy first began in 2014 and we are delighted, almost 10 years later, to be opening the doors to Dylan's Conwy in mid-September this year.”

Robin Hodgson, director and co-owner, added: “Our Baked Goods and General store had such a warm welcome to the busy High Street, and with these amazing views from the first floor over to the Castle, this new restaurant holds a unique location in the town.

“The building is rich in character, has such a privileged location and the interior is so special.

“We think our customers will feel so immediately at home here too.”
