SURFACING work on Rhos-on-Sea promenade is nearing completion, with just a few days to go until contractors finish this phase of work.
Work began on November 9, having been delayed by two days due to the contractor being held up on another job.
Expected to last for two weeks, the work resulted in West Promenade/Cayley Promenade junction (the Colwyn Bay end) closing on November 15 and Rhos Promenade closing from Harlequin Theatre to Combermere Gardens on November 16 and 17.
Bus stops have been temporarily relocated while work continues.

The surfacing is the final part of road surface work, as the extensive work on the sea defence and promenade rejuvenation project nears an end.
Alongside this, other work on the promenade is ongoing, including flowerbeds being installed on the embankment above it, as well as seating, play areas and green spaces.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: "Our contractors are laying the final road surface at Rhos on Sea promenade for two weeks.
"Bus stops will be temporarily relocated to just outside the work area."
