A SEAFRONT hotel in Llandudno will re-open next week under new owners, who said they are "extremely grateful" to be at the helm.
The Clovelly, on South Parade, closed with immediate effect towards the end of February after its owners of 12 years, the Moran family, cited "rising cost and affordability, alongside a reduction in visitors".
The closure has been short-lived, with the hotel since snapped up by Darren and Emma Cooper, who own the The Queen Victoria in Llandudno and the Castle Café in Conwy.
The couple confirmed the hotel would return to trading on Monday, March 9, with the business already taking bookings.
They said they had been "completely overwhelmed" by the response to the hotel re-opening and looked forward to welcoming guests back.
In a statement on social media, the new owners said: We are pleased to announce that The Clovelly Hotel is taking bookings and will reopen for guests Monday 9th March.
